News from Bristol Bridge Club

- Beginners' lessons are available at the club on Wednesday evenings at 7.15 pm and Wednesday afternoons at 2.00pm. A new course of lessons started on September 15th for the evening class and 13th October for the afternoon class. Improvers and second year classes are on a Monday and Thursday night. - It was agreed at the AGM that a new teams competition will be trialled on the second Thursday of the month. The proposal is that teams of 4-6 will play 2 short matches each evening over a 3 month period. A separate pairs competition will take place for those who dont want to play teams.
- The Joan Leary has been renamed Handicapped Pairs and will be plaed on the first Thursday of the month.
