Afternoon Cup
This is the total of the ten best scores by a player on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon and runs for a year starting on 1st June. Latest Results
Austwick Cup
- This is a cumulative handicap pairs.
- You do not have to play with the same partner on each occasion.
- The winner is the individual or individuals with the highest best 8 scores in the year.
- Players with less than 8 scores cannot win the competition.

Bernard Shannon Trophy
Previous chairman and long standing member of the club, Bernard Shannon decided on a competition where individuals are drawn from a hat to give club members a chance to meet and play with players who they would not normally do so. The event is played annually after the AGM.
Only Simple Systems are allowed. Simple Systems cards are available as a PDF.
Curtis Cup
A cumulative competition. Stronger and less strong pairs are drawn to make teams. Each round has cash prizes with an overall prize after the last round. Everyone can play in any number of rounds. The final is from 2:15pm until about 9:30pm with a grand tea provided courtesy of the sponsor. The Curtis Cup is played on three Wednesdays and two final sessions on a Sunday and is named after and supported by Bob Curtis.
Rules:
- The field is divided into two pools of player, based on experience and handicap into stronger and less strong pairs.
- Teams are drawn immediatley before play commences
- You do not have to play with the same partner on each occasion.
- You can play in any number of rounds
- Cash prizes are awarded for the team winning each of the five rounds
- The overall winner is the individual or individuals with the cumulative best score over 3 rounds, discarding your lowest scores in the event of playing in all five rounds.
- Players with less than 3 scores cannot win the overall competition.
The Everett Cup
The Everett Cup is the Club Teams Champioship and is played in two stages. The qualifier is open to all club members.
